Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Center

845 Design served as the architectural planner and interior designer for a Lobby Renovation Study at Lovell Federal Health Center in North Chicago, IL. The 7,500sf lobby serves a wide variety of patients and staff and is a hub for the medical campus. Our team was tasked with studying updates to the main hospital lobby that would create a memorable first impression, ease the wayfinding challenges that existed, facilitate self-registration and capture the thrilling character of Captain James A. Lovell, one of the first three astronauts to orbit the Moon.
