US Customs and Border Protection Facility

845 Design Group is the architect of record, leading a multidisciplinary team in the design of a 5,000sf free-standing U.S. Customs and Border Patrol facility at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Illinois. The municipal airport is co-owned by the Village of Wheeling and the City of Prospect Heights. Our team worked with the Airport, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Village of Wheeling and the City of Prospect Heights on the plan and location for this new facility. The new facility allows the Airport to comply with current FAA and DHS regulations.
